Founded in 1979, the Southern Pennsylvania Volkswagen Club is a regional club for enthusiasts of aircooled and watercooled Volkswagens.
SPVWC is a friendly forum for enjoying and exchanging VW experiences and mechanical know-how.
We're an officially licensed VW club.
Monthly meetings typically occur on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 2 p.m. during Fall and Winter. In the Spring and Summer, meetings will be held according to an agreed upon day and time, which will be announced on the SPVWC web site, www.spvwc.org.
We also hold impromptu get-togethers at favorite local ice cream parlors, restaurants, automotive events, and for an occasional backyard-car-retrieval.
SPVWC participates in the regional VW scene by providing skilled judging at local shows, such as the Deutsche Classic.
Every July, we put on The VW Summer Sizzle at York Volkswagen, as well as The Cape Horn Beverage Oktoberfest at the end of September.
Every VW owner, admirer, or enthusiast is welcome and encouraged to join SPVWC. Membership has its benefits! So, click on 'Membership Form' for a printable copy of an SPVWC membership application, which you may mail or bring along to an SPVWC meeting.
